Desert Wine is a study in memory made material — a home designed around the warmth and stillness of a Palm Springs vacation home. The palette draws from sun-baked earth and dusty sage, with texture doing much of the storytelling: rough stone beside soft bouclé, hand-thrown ceramics, aged brass that glows rather than gleams. The result is a home that feels unhurried,  as though it has always existed exactly this way.

At the heart of the living room lives a deep burgundy, the favourite colour of our client’s cherished loved one. It anchors the space with quiet intention, a personal thread woven through an otherwise sun-warmed palette that gives the room its soul. This is what narrative-driven design does at its best; it holds meaning without explanation, so that the people who know the story feel it, and the people who don’t simply feel that something is right.
