Step into our Westmount project, where history and heritage intertwine seamlessly with contemporary design. This infill home is nestled within an architectural heritage area in Edmonton, so our vision was to craft a space that pays homage to its storied surroundings while creating a home that felt deeply personal and meaningful. Through our design process we focused on incorporating cherished family paintings, treasured photographs, and touches of tartan, connecting the owner to their ancestral roots. This project also holds a subtle nod to the incredible owner of the original home, honoring their legacy and incredible story.

This project held special significance for our clients as the wife grew up just a block away in a home built by her grandfather. Returning to her childhood neighborhood was a chance to connect with her past while establishing a new sense of family history. Today, this Westmount sanctuary stands as a testament to the enduring power of heritage, where roots are rekindled, and a new family story begins.
